Tourist information on places to visit in and around Cape Town is readily available at the Guest House. Stop in at our information centre for maps and details of other hotels, as well as for advice on where to go and on how to travel in and around the city. With prior arrangement, we will happily assist you in booking a rental car or airport pick up before you arrive. We accept payments by local bank transfer; cash in South African Rand, Visa, Master Card and AMEX.

We serve a continental breakfast at the main house. Served between 7:30 – 10:30 weekdays & 8:30– 10:30 weekends.

Businessmen and early risers will be pleased to know that at De Waterkant Place Guest House breakfast is served between 7:30 and 8:00 depending on the season. Vegetarians will be accommodated with pleasure so please advise us of your preference prior to your arrival at the guesthouse. Winter or summer, De Waterkant Place Guest House remains comfortable and inviting. During Cape Town's hot summer months, large colonial sash windows and ceiling fans keep the breeze circulating through the Guest House rooms and common areas. In the more cosy Cape Town winters, De Waterkant Place Guest House offers snug accommodation with heating. On the top floor of the Guest House you might choose to unwind on a soft leather couch with a book, or take in the fresh air on one of the balconies. This is the perfect spot to relax any time of the day.

Our check in time is 2pm and check out is at 11am. These times may be flexible if pre-arranged and is subject to the availability of the rooms. We hope to host you in our favourite City and will do our best make you stay with us comfortable, enjoyable and memorable.
